MINI SEPHORA HAUL

The other morning a package arrived at my front door. I truly thought nothing of it since 99.98% of the time any packages that are dropped off at my door are for my bf. He’s a collector and big ebay fan! :-) Later in evening I just happened to glance over and notice it came from Sephora! I was as giddy as a child on Christmas morning!

I ordered a few things online that I’ve been wanting to try out for a while now and the items just happened to be at a great price!

The following are the 3 items I purchased and the description the packaging provided:

*Bare Escentuals “Buxom: A Wink & A Kiss” Lipstick & Volumizing Mascara Duo ($10).

“BIG & HEALTHY LIP STICK & VOLUMIZING MASCARA DUO - Our vitamin-enriched lip stick and mascara create the look of fuller, more voluminous lips and lashes. working three full-time jobs, our Buxom Lip Stick defines your lips, fill them with a creamy velvet color, and then plumps them to full Buxom potential. Our Buxom Lash magnifies the tiniest of Lashes to outrageous volume from root to tip. it deepens, darkens and thickens lashes as it evenly coats in one fell swoop.”

*Benefit “Benefit To-Go Beauty Bestsellers” ($10).
This item includes tiny sample size containers of the following products:

“SOME KIND-A GORGEOUS - The Foundation Faker. Apply evenly all over face with fingertips.”

“THAT GAL - Brightening Face Primer. Blend onto face with fingertips. Wear alone or under makeup.”

“HIGH BEAM- Luminescent Complexion Enhancer. Dot and blend over makeup onto cheek and brow bones.”

“POSIETINT - Poppy-Pink Tinted Lip & Cheek Stain. Brush three strokes on the apple of each cheek and blend quickly with fingertips. dot on lips and blend. For a deeper pop of color, repeat.”

*Benefit “Bright Lights, Big City!” A Brightening Kit ($26 or $28 after discount code. I don’t remember which).
Aside from a nifty “that gal” mirror, this kit includes the following full-size products:

“THAT GAL - Brightening Face Primer. Go from Dull to Darling with this brightening face primer. Smooth directly on you bare face for clear complexion radiance. RE-brighten throughout the day by lightly patting over makeup.”

“BADGAL BLUE - Brightening Blue Mascara. Make eyes appear whiter & brighter. apply your favorite mascara then dot this brightening blue shade on lash tips. Want your eyes to look more revved up? Wear BADgal blue solo... you won’t be solo for long!”

“EYE BRIGHT - Instant Eye Brightener. Wake up tired eyes with this instant eye brightener. after makeup, this is your final touch. Apply this soft pink pencil to the inner & outer corners of your eyes. Blend lightly.”

I honestly can’t wait to try them all! They sound quite nice and I’m wondering if they will live up to their promise. As always, I’ll give them a fair chance.

What about you? Have you tried any of the items above, and if so, what did you think of them? What products are you curious to try out next?

Take care!

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

Hello ALL!

As you may notice, I have greatly neglected my blog... and I’m very disappointed about it. Life just got too busy, but regardless, here I am again trying to keep this blog going. I hope to be more diligent this time around.
I have continued making makeup tutorials on youtube... not as many as I would have liked- but have managed to get about a dozen or so uploaded to www.youtube.com/LuluMakeup25 . Feel free to take a look if you would like.

I seriously can’t believe it is now 2010... I feel as if 2009 had just started not too long ago, and here we are starting another year! I wish you all the very best: much love, happiness, health, and success.

I don’t always like making New Year’s resolutions, yet I will attempt to be more consistent with the following fun, um, “pass-times”:
Upload a new video onto YouTube at least twice a month rather than maybe once a month.
Keep up this blog. I’ve always loved reading other people’s blogs, and while I am by no means a skilled writer, or speller, I’m looking forward to posting reviews, and other beauty related entries onto here as time permits.

I just hope I don’t loose steam! Wish me luck!

What about you? What are your New Year’s resolutions?

Take care!
